WHBI Afterschool
ART CLUB
Art Club is a wonderful afterschool program, we make many beautiful projects and have lots of fun. We may even try a longer time for some Art Club projects this year depending on school policies. Keep your eyes and ears open for Art Club information throughout the school year. Details about the projects are described in the morning announcements about one week before each project begins.
Students are responsible for picking up a permission slip and returning it before the due date.
Please note that due to the overwhelming student & parent response to Art Club in 2006-07 we
now use a random draw to select students for all Art Club projects. Students are still responsible for
picking up the permisson slip and returning it before the due date. Then the day after the
due date, the number of students for that month's Art Club will be drawn and posted. Students who are drawn will receive a letter through their teacher on the dates listed below. Those students who participate will then be ineligible for the next month's Art Club.

October :
Fourth and fifth graders created paper Mache' bowls using recyled paper and Leaves. Day tow they created a finished edge design using Raffia or fabric scraps.

November
During the Month of November fourth and fifth graders will be creating Landscape drawings and paintings if time  allows.we will look at photos of the local Landscape of the ADIRONDACK foothills and lakes.
