News and Notes
4/8 The Spartans opened their season with wins over Glens Falls and Hudson Falls. Lylie LIpinski was a double winner for the girls.
4/12 The Spartans traveled to the Ballston Spa Invitational and got outstanding performances from Danielle Winslow and Matt Flint.
4/17 Danielle Winslow set a new freshman record in the 2000 Steeplechase at Fonda-Fultonville. Several other Spartan distance runners also did well. See full results on our schedule page.
4/19 The Spartan girls put in a strong 2nd place performance at the inuagural Warrior Classic at Nisayuna. Kylie Lipinski, Morgan Mueller, Danielle Winslow and Priscilla Thermidor helped lead the way.
4/22 The Spartans took on Scotia and Johnstown in a key foothills match-up. The girls moved to 4-0 with wins over both teams, while the boys defeated Johnstown and lost a heartbreaker to Scotia 72-69. The boys record is 3-1
4/26 Danielle Winslow set a new school record in the 3000 meter run in helping the girls to 5th place finish at the Anthony Luciano invitational. Kylie Lipinski(TJ) and Priscilla Thermidor(disc) were also winners for the girls.. The boys 4 X 800 relay team put in a strong performance.
4/29 the Boys defeated Broadalbin and South High in a dual meet to move to 5-1 in the league. The girls finished 6th at the schenectady Invitational. Kylie Lipinski(TJ) and Danielle Winslow(1500) both finished second in their events. Kate Messina, Maddie Bishop, Morgan Mueller and Kate Mannix recorded PR's.
