Hey everyone!!! I'm so excited about this coming school year!! Mr. Carey and I have a lot of ideas that we are going to put into action this year for our art students and many more. We will be doing different projects with our 7th grade classes and I will be taking my 8th grade Studio in Art class on another amazing field trip. Last year was the first year Mr. Carey and I had and Art Club available for Middle School students. This year it's back and better than ever. We plan on doing units in drawing, pottery, set design, sidewalk art, glass blowing and hopefully much more. We hope to be able to take the Art Club on a field trip this year to a museum for some hands on exploration. Just like last year it will run all year long. You can join any time through out the year just listen to the announcements and look for flyers around school announcing when the meetings will be.
