Artist In Residency

We have hosted various artists at QES.  Some past artists in residency are shown below.

. Mr. Chris Holder, Storyteller/singer, created amazing stories with our entire second grade as well as a beautiful song entitled "Costa Rica's Misty Rainforest". This residency supported the second grade study of Costa Rica and enriched the learning of all the students.

Musician Brian Chevalier helped us create songs to enhance our Social Studies curriculum. We wrote songs about our community, community helpers and geography. We thank our Arts in Education Committee and our Box Tops program for supporting this meaningful and educational experience.
