QES Character Education Program
"Work hard. Do your best. Achieve your dreams at QES! "
At Queensbury Elementary School, we believe that all children and adults should demonstrate good character. Our school themes are: Respect, Caring, Cooperation, Responsibility
We celebrate our Character Education Program each marking quarter through special events and programs. Special events such as Winter Fun Day, and school assemblies are held annually and our morning announcements include daily reminders of the importance of good character.
The Lion Award program was instituted by our counselors to recognize QES students that have done things that we are proud of. Students earning this award are recognized with a certificate, have their pictures added to our lion bulletin board, and are recognized on the morning announcements.
The QES school resource officers, Trooper Bob Anslow and Officer Ken Smith are also involved in our K-3 Character Ed programs.
