First Grade Sight Words

Throughout the year we will be covering 6 different reading books. Along with each book comes a set of sight words. You will find these words listed below. The students should practice and memorize these words so they can recognize them automatically. This will greatly improve their reading!

Spelling Words

We have a spelling test every Friday on the lists below. We will be practicing the words in school throughout the week. However, I ask that the students study the words each week at home as well, beginning on Monday as some of the words are difficult. Thank you and happy studying!
