Message from Mrs. Edwards
I know words can't truly explain how I feel but,
I would like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for a wonderful year!
Thank you for sharing your children with me, and
thank you for all of your support throughout the year.
I will miss you all. Please keep in touch and come back to visit.
I'd love to hear about all of your future successes.
Also, thank you SO much for the very generous end of the year gift! You are all very kind.
FYI - I will keep these pictures on our webpage until late August,
when I will need to begin to prepare my website for my 2008-2009 first grade class.

Visitors from Saga City, Japan
Monday, March 31, 2008
We were fortunate enough to be
one of the classrooms visited by
Japanese students from Saga City, Japan.
The students are 7th grade students
who are here for 8 days visiting QUFSD.
|
 |
The students showed us how to use chopsticks.
Then we ate a Goldfish snack using chopsticks! |
 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
After our snack, the students then
showed us how to make origami.
It was challenging but fun!
Thank you, Mrs. Lucy, for giving us this opportunity! What an experience! |

Thank you to the Anthis', the Conlons, the Kinneys, the Mileskis, the Orrs,
the Starks, and the Sylvias for providing the refreshments!
Here are some photos from the night. Enjoy!

Our pen pals visited our classroom.
We did a craft, had a delicious snack of juice, fruit kebobs and Munchkins, and played Heads Up 7-Up.
It was fun! Here are some pictures from our get-together. Enjoy!
All in all - our class raised $346.53 -
between the bake sale and the chore money.
WOW!!!!
We raised $156.90 from our chore money. The boys and girls are VERY proud of the chores they completed at home to earn this money for our Adopt-a-Family program. I appreciate all of the parental support of this program, both for the financial support and for allowing your children to feel such a sense of giving! It really makes a difference having them earn the money rather than just bring it in.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
