Parent Volunteers:

Our class needs volunteers to help us with our activities this year. I am interested in having regular, weekly volunteers, as well as volunteers who may only be able to come in occasionally. I may need a volunteer to substitute for a weekly volunteer or for a special activity we may be doing in class. There will also be opportunities to volunteer for such things as a mystery reader, special assemblies or chaperoning a field trip. Please sign up for whatever you are able to do, as I do need a lot of volunteers for different activities.

Parents play an important role in their child's education. The partnership between home and school is an important one. By fostering this relationship, we can communicate to your child the importance of education and make this year one your child will remember for years to come.

I will be talking more at Parent Information Night about volunteers and will be having sign ups for the information meeting and volunteer times then!

PTSA Information!

Become active in our school PTSA! Meetings are usually held the second Tuesday of the month at 7 pm in the media center. The meetings will be marked on my monthly calendar and can be found on the district calendar as well.  If you would like more information, you may contact the PTSA president, Kathleen Hanchett at 792-7644.
