Your amazing spirit gives children hope in this world.  Each day is a blessing to be with you.                                                                                                                                 Natalie V.

Whenever I was down, you were always there for me.  You always found a way to help me out.  You gave me good advice and it always helped me.  I will never forget you.  You are in my life forever.     Cassandra W.

Thanks for always being there and being a good friend and teacher.             Ashley P.

Thank you for all that you've taught me and thanks for being there whenever I needed someone to talk to.  Savannah M.

To the best teacher, friend, and most of all, mother figure in the world.  Thanks for sticking it out and putting up with me.  Katie W.

Thanks for being there for me.  You've given me a a lot of confidence.  I'm glad you're my teacher.  You made me come out of my shell.  You are the best teacher in the whole world.  You understand kids and don't get all upset on them.  I hope you like your present.  I picked it out with love.  Taylor S.

I just wanted to thank you for everything.  You are like a second mom to me.  You mean a lot to me and I am so thankful for you.  Nicole H.

We couldn't find a Mother's Day card so this is the next best thing.  Thank you for giving me a second chance.  Bruce C.

THIS WEB PAGE IS A WORK IN PROGRESS....

                   WELCOME TO GED

GED stands for General Education Development.  The GED Test Battery is a national examination developed by the American Council on Education.  The certificate earned for passing the test is widely recognized by colleges, training schools, and employers as equivalent to a high school diploma.  The GED Test reflects the major and lasting outcomes normally acquired in a high school program.

What makes a GED credential “equivalent to a high school diploma ?”

The GED is accepted as an equivalent to a high school diploma by approximately 97% of colleges and universities in the U.S., and 95% of employers because they recognize the GED test as a rigorous examination equal to or exceeding high school proficiency.

The GED tests are standardized and normed using a national random sample of graduating high school seniors. To pass the GED tests, a candidate must demonstrate a level of skill that meets or exceeds that demonstrated by 60% of graduating high school seniors. This means that 40% of graduating high school seniors would not pass the GED tests.

The GED Test Battery consists of five examinations:  Language Arts, Writing; Social Studies; Science; Language Arts, Reading; and Mathematics.  You can expect the subjects to be interrelated, or interdisciplinary.  For example, a mathematics problem may include a scientific diagram, or a social studies question may require some mathematical skills.
