     Welcome to the Queensbury Middle School, Technology Education home page. This page is here to help support the children in the district as well as give information to the general public. 

What is Technology?: Technology is the application of the principles of math and science to produce products that meet peoples wants and needs.

Why Study Technology?: Technology affects nearly every aspect of our lives from leisure time to occupations.  Students need to become technologically literate to be able deal with the changes they will see in their life times.

Who Teaches Technology?: Mr. Jackson, Mr. Potter and Mr. Purdy are the teachers at QMS.  All three teachers have both 7th and 8th grade classes.

How Students Learn Tech Ed at QMS?: Students learn about technology with a combination of academic and hands-on  activities.  After learning about a new topic through a PowerPoint lecture, students will either experience the real thing or a simulation of the real experience.
