Spanish 8

 

  Eighth grade Spanish is a full year course. Students will receive a high school credit upon successful completion of  this course.                                                                      

 In June all eighth grade  Spanish students must take the New York State Proficiency Exam for Foreign Language.

 Students must pass this exam with at least a 65 before they are able to continue with Level 2 at

the High School. If your student does not pass

    the course or the Exam the course must be            repeated in ninth grade.   

          

The text used for this class is

"Ven Conmigo."

 

So that your student will be successful in both classes, extra help is ALWAYS available before or after school.  Your student just needs to let me know when  he /she would like to come for help.
