Welcome to Mrs. Lucy's Consumer and Career Skills class!

 

 

 

 

Consumer and Career Skills I is a ten-week course for 6th grade. We will learn kitchen safety, basic nutrition, food preparation skills,how to use small sewing equipment, use a sewing machine, and complete a sewing construction project.

 

Consumer and Careers Skills II class for 8th grade is a twenty-week course. Our curriculum includes decision-making skills, focuses on the family, introduces interior design,explores personal money management,explains the relationship between food and health, develops food preparation skills, continues the basics of sewing and expands skill level with sewing project, and allows for exploration of careers to match interests and abilities.
