At Queensbury Elementary School, we believe that all children and adults should demonstrate good character. Our school themes are: Respect, Caring, Cooperation, ResponsibilityWe celebrate our Character Education Program each marking quarter through special events and programs. Special events such as school assemblies are held annually and our morning announcements include daily reminders of the importance of good character.

Character Education Traits

FIRST QUARTER: RESPECT manners courtesy good citizenship safety following the rules of the school/bus	THIRD QUARTER: COOPERATION team building working together drug & alcohol prevention
SECOND QUARTER: CARING who am I? (attitude/self esteem) kindness (antibullying) what is a friend?(peer relationships) honesty communication(being a good listener)	FOURTH QUARTER: RESPONSIBILITY goal setting career awareness being successful pride in achievement
