The Annual Spartan Sprint is scheduled for Sunday, May 20  

The elementary school is looking for volunteers.  If you need community service hours or just want to be part of a really cool school activity, sign up in Mrs. Fisch's office.

 

Attention:  Junior girls who are interested in math and science!  

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) wants you to attend an exciting day of hands-on exploration in engineering, science, and technology.  Design Your Future Day allows you to "think outside the box" while collaborating with professional female scientists and college students.  The program is free to eligible students and offers a day filled with STEM activities, seminars that focus on college life and accelerated degree programs.  For more information, see your counselor and go to www:eng.rpi.edu/dyfd/.  Deadline is April 6, 2012

 

Attention Juniors:  

Colleges begin to contact the guidance office with scholarship offers for students interested in their programs.  Schools such as St. Michael's, Holy Cross, RPI, RIT, LeMoyne, Clarkson, Sage College of Albany, and St. Lawrence  are starting to recruit academically eligible juniors.  If you are interested in these or other schools, please let your counselor know as soon as possible.  Deadline dates are approaching for our nominations.


 

Are you looking for a fun, worthwhile volunteer experience?  

The Community Exchange Foundation is sponsoring a Kids' Exchange Consignment Sale featuring new, like-new, and gently used kids' items at bargain prices on May 5 from 9:00 - 3:00 at the Adirondack Sports Complex.  We need your help!  If you are interested in volunteering for the day, please sign up in Mrs. Fisch's office.

 

 

The New York State Department of Health

Looking for students, ages 14 to 16, who would like to participate in compliance checks.  These positions are paid an hourly wage and include 10 hours per week during school and up to 26 hours per week during vacations and summer.  Parental consent is required.  If you are interested, please see Mrs. Fisch in the Main Office for additional information.
