Greg Goetz
Class of 1986
August 16, 2011- Greg graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. He is co-owner of Ray Supply, a third generation family business, and lives in Queensbury with his wife, Mary.
Greg’s fondest memories of high school are of playing soccer and tennis. “When I think of high school, the first thought that comes to mind is how much pride I felt wearing the Queensbury uniform. I loved the team camaraderie we had and playing soccer for coaches Al Hammel and Tom Rosecranz.”
Greg has stayed involved with the school by collaborating on the development of 21st century classrooms in the high school. “The use of technology to enhance education is a no-brainer. Utilizing technology in this environment gives students access to the tools used in the real world.”
After college, Greg lived and worked in New England for several years before the lure of the Adirondacks brought him back home. “I returned to Queensbury in 2003. After being away for 15 years I found a new appreciation for our area and the quality of life we have here.”
