    Queensbury Summer Academy

    The Queensbury Summer Academy for students entering grades K-5 is a six-week, half-day program that blends academic instruction, character education, enrichment activities, field trips and more. It is designed to help students maintain and expand on the academic, social and emotional progress they made in the prior school year. Students will receive free breakfast and bagged lunches to encourage healthy eating habits during the summer. The program is hosted at Queensbury High School.     Queensbury Summer Academy: 6-8 Regional Summer School
    The Queensbury Summer Academy hosts a BOCES regional summer school for any students leaving grades 6-8 and for Queensbury students who will enter grade 6 in the fall. The six-week, half-day program will help participants strengthen academic areas they struggled with during the school year. It will also provide instruction and activities that support their ability to be innovative and think critically. Students will receive free breakfast and bagged lunches every school day. They will also enjoy hands-on food preparation/cooking lessons. The program is hosted at Queensbury High SchoolEnrollment is free to district residents and $200/student for non-residents, which covers the full six weeks. Learn more or download the brochure (PDF).
     
    Queensbury Summer Academy: 9-12 Regional Summer School
    The Queensbury Summer Academy hosts a BOCES regional summer school for any students currently in grades 9-12. The six-week program gives students an opportunity to make up courses they struggled with during the school year so they can earn credits towards graduation.
