"Empower all students to be lifelong learners,

inspired to pursue their dreams

and contribute to the global community."

Well, I can hardly believe it is Spring already.  You wouldn't know it by the weather, but we do have our gyms filled with the sounds of baseball, track, and LaCrosse.  Those sounds will hopefully move outdoors.  This week is a busy, crazy, hectic week at QMS.  Our Saga City visitors arrive today.  We will greet them at 5PM in our cafeteria.  Tommorrow we will have an opening ceremony with our students in the RFI gymnasium.  Later in the day ewe will have our annual talent show.  The late show will also be viewed by 3 fifth grade classrooms.  It's nice to have them over.  It won't be too long until they are actually here in the building.  in addition to all that stuff we also have our drama club production this weekend at the Charles R. Wood Theater.  There will be two showings.  There is an evening showing of Airplane (a comedy) on Friday night, then a matinee on Saturday.  We hope to see you there.

The Teaming iniative is moving forward as well.  We will be hosting another Open Forum on April 8, 2008.  We invite all parents and community members to join us in the middle school cafeteria at 7Pm on that evening.

In addition to the Open Forums I will be posting information on my Blog.  You can find the blog at: http://www.queensburyschool.org/blog/middleschool/principal/?page_id=31

Once again this year we are still emailing the weekly Voice newsletter.  If you are interested in receiving the Voice through email, please send me an email at: dsilvernell@queensburyschool.org .
