    • Parent University presents the workshop "The Digitally Literate Student" on Wednesday, Oct. 26, at 7 p.m. in the Queensbury High School LGI Room. Parents will use Chromebooks to explore how students work digitally in school and what role parents can play in their children's digital education. Those with students in grades 5-12 are invited to bring their child's assigned Chromebook to the workshop. There will be door prizes for participants and free babysitting for children ages 4 and up. Learn more.

    • Water Testing: Queensbury Union Free School District has begun the water testing process for all Queensbury buildings, with the assistance of a state-approved laboratory. This process is in accordance with a new law that requires public schools in New York to test all water outlets currently or potentially used for drinking or cooking purposes for lead levels.
