The Queensbury Wrestling Program has been chosen as the recipient of the Division I Section II Sportsmanship Award for the 2009-2010 season. This award is given to the school whose entire wrestling program, from Modified to Varsity, best represents the ideals and qualities of sportsmanship. We thank Coaches Rory Johnson, Jason Tenner, Tracy Nelson and Jim Hubert for modeling and setting a high standard of sportsmanship for their teams to follow. Congratulations to all of our athletes and coaches for this well deserved honor. Go Spartans!

An additional congratulations to Coach Rory Johnson for being named the Section II Class B Wrestling Coach of the Year!

2nd ANNUAL HIKE FOR HOPE
The 2nd annual Hike for Hope - Cody's Climb, sponsored by the American Foundation for the Prevention of Suicide, is coming up this spring. Cody Miller was a Queensbury student who would be graduating this year if not for falling victim to suicide as a sophomore. The Hike for Hope is the culmination of fundraising activities so that teens can learn alternative healthy ways to deal with depression. If you are interested in hiking with us to support the AFPS, sign up in Mrs. Fisch's office in the Guidance Office by Friday, February 12. If you are looking for a wonderful opportunity to show our community that you care about each other, Cody's Climb is it!
