    • Montreal, Here We Come!

      This morning, March 21, at 7:30 a.m., 47 QHS students and four chaperones departed for a weekend excursion to Montreal. Led by French Club Advisor Monelle Cottrell, the itinerary includes sightseeing tours of Old Montreal, urban art, theatres, ecosystems at the Biodome, and Basilique Notre-Dame. The group has also planned a snowshoeing excursion through Jean Drapeau park and a Hip Hop dance workshop! Bon Voyage!

    • Latin American Studies Class Visits D.C.

      Students in Michael Anderson's Latin American studies class visit with the Ambassador of The Bahamas on March 14 in Washington, DC. The other half of the class was meeting with the diplomats at the Embassy of Canada.

    • Attn: Students in grades 9-11 - Sign up is open for the NCBI workshop on April 30. This workshop focuses on reducing prejudice and discrimination while helping to foster ideas that will further improve the high school climate. Students will spend a full day working on addressing tough issues and gaining the necessary skills to create allies for diverse groups within our student body and community. Sign up with Ms. Vice in the guidance office.
