wrestlingWrestling Club Scholarships Awarded
Five modified wrestlers were presented with a Wrestling Club Scholarship from the Queensbury Mat Fans on May 10. Congratulations to Derrick Finnegan, Nicholas Robbins, Christian Crandall, Jake Mansman, and Jared Bruno!

Presented by Coach Jim Hubert, Coach Rich Keys and Mat Fans representative Lisa Balschunat, the scholarships are given to help defray the costs of attending a wrestling camp to improve skills and technique while staying physically fit and training in the off-season. The Queensbury Mat Fans group has been awarding scholarships to students for several years.

Summer Enrichment Opportunities
SUNY Adirondack has released the 2012 Summer Enrichment brochure for students completing grades 3-9. The program runs Monday – Thursday, July 9-26. Registration is from Wednesday, April 18 through June 15.

A variety of activities are available, including jewelry making, acting, art, book club, robotics with LEGOS, rock climbing, and more!

Students completing grades 10-12 have the opportunity to serve as a Faculty Assistant to a Summer Enrichment instructor. This is a great way to get some community service to round out that college application!

2011-2012 School Supply Information


The cost of breakfast for students in grades K-12 is $1.05, lunch for K-5 is $1.40 and lunch for 6-12 is $1.55. Children from households that meet federal income guidelines are eligible for free or reduced price meals, which cost $.25 for breakfast and $.25 for lunch. To apply for free or reduced price meals, download the application and return it to Mrs. Ryle in the Middle School.
