Dear Queensbury community,
I hope you had a fun and restful summer! We can hardly wait to welcome students back into our buildings next Thursday, Sept. 9.
Our priority for the 2021-22 school year is to not only welcome back 100% of our students, but to safely maintain in-person learning for all, as well as to maintain the offering of co-curriculars, extracurricular activities, and athletics for students.
In order to reopen safely, our district reopening plan was created based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the American Academy of Pediatrics, and in consultation with our district medical director and Warren County Public Health.
For reopening and COVID-related updates, please continue to visit our website. The 2021-22 Reopening Plan and COVID updates pages can be easily accessed through our “Featured Links,” found on the bottom left-hand side of our district homepage.
Looking ahead, in the event we have a confirmed COVID case, we will no longer be sending a SchoolMessenger notification. The information will be posted to the district website daily as a news story and reflected on the COVID updates page.
After reading through the reopening plan, if you have any additional questions, please reach out to your building principal.
Here’s to another great school year. I am so proud to be a Spartan!
