A holiday message from Superintendent Gannon

Dear parents/guardians,

With the holiday season in full swing, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all you have done to keep our schools safe since the beginning of the school year. With 2020 coming to a close, I find myself full of hope. As I reflect back on what we’ve weathered and accomplished together this past year, I have never been more proud to be a Spartan.

When we reopened our doors in September, we were overjoyed, but unsure of what to expect. Every week that we were able to keep our school doors open was (and continues to be) cause for celebration. As a school community, we have faced these challenges together – through flexibility, patience, and understanding we have persevered.

Thank you for your diligence and partnership in navigating through such challenging times this school year. As we head into 2021, I am encouraged and inspired by your ongoing support and commitment to our schools and your children.

I wish you and your families a happy holiday season and a restful winter break. See you next year!

Sincerely,

Kyle L. Gannon
Superintendent of Schools
