An update from Superintendent Gannon (Oct. 9)

Dear families,

First of all, thank you once again for your cooperation during our in-school learning pause. I am happy to share we will resume in-person instruction on Tuesday, Oct. 13. We will continue to communicate with you in the event there are additional positive COVID-19 cases in our school district. We will continue to look at these situations and make decisions in conjunction with our Medical Director and Warren County Public Health to keep our school community safe.

We have recently published revised return to school protocols for students who are feeling ill. Please review the protocols and ensure all steps have been completed before sending your child back to school.

I am so proud of our school community for ensuring a smooth transition to remote learning this past week. I wanted to share some of the things we accomplished this week:

  • 891 Chromebooks were distributed to our K-4 students
  • 3,010 meals were delivered to students

Beginning on Monday, Oct. 12, athletics contests and practices will resume for our teams competing this fall. Our campus trails and athletic fields/courts will also be opened back up to the public at this time.

Students in grades 7-12 will continue to follow the October learning schedules. View the QHS schedule. View the QMS schedule

Thank you for doing your part to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in our community.

I am looking forward to seeing many of you on Tuesday.

Sincerely,

Kyle L. Gannon

Superintendent of Schools
