Battle of the Buildings Volleyball Tournament to benefit QMS student

A poster advertising a volleyball tournament.The Battle of the Buildings Volleyball Tournament from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 17 will raise funds to help the family of Queensbury Middle School sixth grader Brookelle McMullin, who has been diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a type of cancer.

The goal is to come together as a community, not only to enjoy a night of volleyball but also to raise funds to assist in Brookelle and her family’s medical journey. 

The tournament is open to all students, parents, faculty, friends and family. The admission fee is $1 for students and $2 for adults. 

“Your presence and support will make a significant difference in our fellow student’s life,” said QMS art teacher Amy VanVranken. “Let’s rally together and demonstrate the strength of our QMS community in times of need.”
