Board of Education intends to appoint Justin Lansley as Assistant Principal of Queensbury High School at July 11 meeting

Beginning July 6, 2022, Justin Lansley will assume the role of assistant principal of Queensbury High School (QHS). Lansley has been working with QHS since 2020, and has been working in education since 2005. On top of completing many professional development opportunities while working at QUFSD, Lansley also obtained a Master’s of Education degree from Liberty University specializing in Administration & Supervision.

As assistant principal, Lansley will assist with the support and promotion of high standards and expectations for all students and staff, support and maintain an emotionally healthy and physically safe environment for all, be responsible for student management, represent QHS on the district safety committee, collaborate with the QHS Principal and district administration on instructional best practices, strategies, and professional development needs, oversee initiatives to improve graduation rates, and support supervision and implementation of all QHS activities and programs, among other duties as assigned.

I look forward to working with staff, families, and the Queensbury community to carry on the tradition and provide our students with an optimal education that will continue on with them as they embark on the next chapter of their lives,” says Lansley.
