“There are a lot of applications and programs on Chromebooks students are using in their classes every day, and we want to provide an opportunity for families to learn more about using these tools and how to support their students at home,” said QMS Assistant Principal Sarah Grant.

Staff members will be at the event along with students from both the middle and high schools to answer questions, review programs like SchoolTool, ParentSquare, Google Classroom and FamilyID, and help families get signed up.

The QMS PTA is sponsoring a baked ziti dinner with salad and bread for all families that attend. Students and siblings are welcome. Child supervision and activities will be provided to allow parents to attend without needing to worry about dinner or childcare. The Q-munity Bus will also be set up for students and families to explore.

“We hope this is an evening that brings families together with staff and students while providing helpful information to maximize success,” Grant said.

Families are encouraged, but not required, to preregister. The evening will be set up as an expo, so families can come and go anytime between 6 and 8 p.m. Click this link to register for the QMS Information Buffet
