At a Board of Education workshop on Monday, Feb. 15, Dr. Bill Borgos, Superintendent Gannon and Athletic Director Keys presented to the Board of Education. The Board did not hold a vote on high-risk sports.
“At this time, the Board stands by their decision to not move forward with winter high-risk sports,” said Board of Education President Dan Mannix. “We cannot stress enough that this was a very difficult decision.”
Superintendent of Schools Kyle L. Gannon said, “I respect the decision that has been made.”
The Board will discuss fall 2 high-risk sports at the next Board meeting on Feb. 22.
