QMS Activities, Clubs & Sports
Research consistently shows the benefits of extracurricular activities for students. Extracurricular activities help ease transition issues when entering a new school community. By joining clubs, activities, and sports programs, students begin to feel a greater connection to the school community. The research also points to the fact that involvement in these activities has a direct impact on the academic achievement of participants.
These types of activities provide avenues for students to connect with their peers and faculty members to create positive social networks. These activities tap into student inter-ests, encourage peer interactions, promote cooperation, build student-adult relationships, provide structure and challenge, and connect students to school. We are proud to offer a wide variety of student activities to help meet one of the Board of Education Goals:
“All students will be involved with extra-curricular and service activities either in or out of school.”
So get involved and show your Spartan Spirit!Queensbury Middle School students are all encouraged to get involved! Students and parents can contact a team counselor to learn more.Activity Bus runs available at 3:45 and 4:45.
