Children don't come with an instruction manual,
but Parent University can help! The Queensbury Union Free School District educational mission continues with Parent University, a series of free, informative programs featuring experts in child development and education. These experts offer their insights during evening presentations, practical skills workshops and casual morning conversations. Parent University covers a broad range of wellness-focused topics, from methods to support a child's physical and mental well-being to tackling a teen's challenging behaviors. Most sessions of Parent University are open to the public, and no registration is required. Sessions are generally designed with parenting adults in mind, but teens may also benefit from attending certain sessions. The calendar at right features some upcoming Parent University events.
