The district learned today, Dec. 11, that a district-wide employee has tested positive for COVID-19. The individual was last in the district on Thursday, Dec. 10.
We have been in contact with Warren County Public Health and identified the individual’s close contacts in the school community. Anyone who has been in close contact with this individual has been directly contacted by a school administrator to discuss quarantine procedures and other health-related instructions.
Please note that The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other privacy laws restrict us from disclosing or confirming any personally identifiable information. We cannot identify anyone who has tested positive.
The district continues to thoroughly clean and disinfect all buildings on campus, in accordance with guidance from the New York State Department of Health and the CDC.
