Nine individuals test positive for COVID-19

Today we are reporting nine new cases of COVID-19 in our school community. The cases we are reporting today include: 

  • Three individuals that are members of the same household, one associated with the WHBI, one associated with QMS, and another associated with QHS, who were last in the building Wednesday, March 23. 
  • Two individuals that are members of the same household, one associated with the QMS community, and another associated with QHS. The individuals were last in the building on Friday, March 19.
  • An individual associated with the QHS community. The individual is part of the remote learning program. As a result, there are no school contacts.
  • An individual associated with QHS community. The individual was last in the building on Friday, March 19. 
  • An individual associated with the QHS community. The individual was last in the building on Friday, March 19.
  • An individual associated with the QHS community. The individual was last in the building today, March 24.

All individuals known to be in close proximity with the above positive individuals are in the process of being contacted to discuss any quarantine procedures and other health-related instructions. 

Please note that The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other privacy laws restrict us from disclosing or confirming any personally identifiable information. We cannot identify anyone who has tested positive.
