Queensbury Elementary School Principal Jessica Rossetti picked up backpacks stuffed with school supplies Tuesday, Aug. 29 that will be distributed to QES students. 
The Tri-County United Way partnered with The Post-Star and Nemer Ford to provide backpacks and school supplies for local elementary school students in need. Rossetti said 75 QES families signed up to receive a backpack.
“They get to come in and choose one between now and the first day of school,” Rossetti said.
The Kids with Packs Program provided 671 backpacks to 12 local school districts.
