The Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA) promotes the welfare, success and achievement of Queensbury Elementary School students. It supports activities that enrich children’s education, provides funding for school-based programs and helps QES families develop friendships.

PTSA meetings

All QES PTSA meetings will be held virtually from 6-7 p.m.

2021-22 meeting schedule

Volunteer opportunities

PTSA membership allows parents to get involved in their child’s school by sharing ideas, concerns and volunteer experiences with other parents and educators. Find out how you can volunteer to support the PTSA by emailing QESPTSA@gmail.com.

Fundraising efforts

Box Tops for Education

The Box Tops for Education program helps Queensbury Elementary School raise money for school supplies. Box tops can be found on many household items.

The box tops can be cut off and glued to special sheets sent home with students. Parents are asked to return each sheet containing clipped box tops to their child’s teacher. Classes can earn rewards for collecting a certain number of box tops each month.

Parents can also register online to track the school’s box tops, to download coupons for participating products and to enter to win bonus box tops for QES.

Catalog fundraiser

Catalog fundraisers invite students to sell products to friends and family in order to earn prizes and the opportunity to be principal for a day. Students are encouraged to not sell door to door. PTSA volunteers help organize packets, count money and sort orders.

Price Chopper/Market 32 Tools for Schools

Families who shop at Price Chopper/Market 32 and register their AdvantEdge card for Tools for Schools can help Queensbury Elementary School earn points for school supplies, musical instruments and playground equipment. Register once and your registration will carry forward each year. Learn more.
