Queensbury UFSD receives email threat

After school today, Wednesday, Oct. 18, Queensbury Union Free School District received an email stating that bombs have been placed inside our schools. Students still on campus for after-school events were sent home, and evening events were canceled.

Today, other districts across the state received similar emails.

At this point in time, the New York State Police are in the process of searching our buildings with a search team and a police dog. And the buildings will be searched again before school begins tomorrow.

We appreciate our partnership with the State Police and Warren County Sheriff’s Department. The safety of our students is imperative. As always, if you see something, say something.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to your building administrator.
