For New York State School Public Relations Association (NYSPRA)’s 43rd Annual Communication Awards, Public Information Specialist Conner Dickson and Assistant Superintendent for Business Scott Whittemore won an award of honor for Queensbury UFSD’s 2022 Budget Newsletter.
The newsletter was mailed out to Queensbury community members in the spring of 2022.
”I am proud of our strong communications for the district and it is a distinct honor to receive this award,” said Queensbury UFSD Superintendent Kyle Gannon.
The award was presented at the New York State School Board Association’s annual convention, where NYSPRA held their 43rd annual Communications Awards Luncheon. Queensbury UFSD board members Dan Mannix and Francis Cabana were in attendance, to support Conner Dickson and Scott Whittemore.
“Anything successful within a public school is certainly a team effort, but I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with such a caring and motivated group of individuals,” said Conner Dickson.
The New York State School Public Relations Association is a state chapter of the National School Public Relations Association, nationally recognized for its efforts on behalf of school public relations professionals. With members representing school districts, BOCES and independent PR agencies throughout New York, NYSPRA is dedicated to the development and dissemination of educational communications that engage parents, staff, community residents, partners in education and other stakeholders.
