Dr. Jill Borgos is a professor at SUNY College at Plattsburgh, where she teaches courses in the School of Education, Nursing, and Human Services. She is serving her third term on the Queensbury Board of Education. In July 2016, she was named president of the Board of Education.
Dr. Borgos earned a doctorate in educational policy from the University at Albany, a master’s degree from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree from Boston College. She is a 2012-13 recipient of UAlbany’s Sanford H. Levine Fellowship award for her educational leadership and a 2013 recipient of its Presidential Distinguished Doctoral Dissertation award. Borgos presents nationally and is published internationally on quality in higher education.
She and her husband, Dr. Bill Borgos, have two children, Maggie and Teddy, who attend Queensbury schools.
