Two QHS students selected to attend HOBY seminar in May

Tyler Spaulding and Natalie DeJohnQueensbury High School is proud to announce that Tyler Spaulding and Natalie DeJohn have been selected by the faculty to be the school’s representatives at the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Seminar (HOBY) in May 2020. HOBY is recognized internationally as one of the premier youth leadership organizations in the country. The mission of HOBY is to seek out, recognize and develop leadership potential commencing with high school sophomores. Tyler and Natalie will have the opportunity to meet other students from New York State who have the desire to lead and make their schools and communities better places. HOBY encourages community involvement through exposure to free enterprise, volunteerism and service. Students will meet professional leaders in several venues to gain a better perspective on what sustains our way of life and what must be done to preserve our youths’ vocational future.
