Two Queensbury students involved in the Environmental Conservation and Forestry program at the Southern Adirondack Education Center attended the National Future Farmers of America (FFA) Convention and competition in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Emily Passno received a silver medal in her individual competition and Kaidyn Clark received the bronze medal in her individual competition.
The four person team (pictured below) received a Bronze in the Forestry Career Development Event as well.
“We are very proud of the students for their individual and team accomplishments. Thank you for your support of our programs. Opportunities like the National convention are wonderful leadership experiences for the students and cannot be provided without the support of our superintendents. Thank you,” said Superintendent for Instructional Programs at WSWHE BOCES, Nancy A. DeStefano.
