April showers bring May flowers, as the saying goes.
May Day, a traditional springtime holiday is celebrated on May 1 with a little basket, usually including flowers or little treats.
WHBI’s Character Education Committee chose to observe the springtime celebration by making festive May Day baskets for all of the adults in the WHBI building.
Each basket included chocolates and an inspirational message written by WHBI’s Caring Kids Club members.
Members of the Caring Kids Club helped to hand out the baskets to teachers and staff as they started their day on Friday, April 30. The group continued to spread springtime cheer, visiting the district office and transportation building in the afternoon.
