Since the late 19th century, sports and media fans alike have sought after their favorite celebrity’s signatures. Though the autograph hobby has changed considerably, a love for collecting unique memorabilia has remained.
Biomedical engineering student Bennett Beaulieu will offer a virtual workshop to discuss “How to Start and Maintain a Correspondence with Your Favorite Celebrity or Athlete” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 19.
During this webinar, children, teens and their caregivers will learn how to contact their favorite celebrity/athlete, begin and maintain a correspondence with them through the mail, and properly store the memorabilia. In addition to being introduced to a rewarding hobby, students will enhance their investigative and writing skills to increase their chances of success.
