Twenty-four Queensbury High School student-artists were named finalists for the 34th annual High School Juried Show with a total of 30 works of art from QHS students.
Their artwork will be on display at The Hyde Collection in downtown Glens Falls through May 18 at the museum’s Charles R. Wood Gallery, and some work is also part of a second show at Glens Falls Hospital.
The Hyde exhibit opened with a reception and awards ceremony on April 12.
“The High School Juried Show serves as a transformative opportunity for area high school students to delve into the intricacies of the art world, gaining invaluable experience and knowledge along the way,” according to the Hyde’s website. “High school artists employ diverse styles and mediums, including drawing, painting, digital illustration, photography, mixed-media, jewelry, sculpture and ceramics.”
