Photo collage of students volunteering and walking around elementary school.

Members of the Queensbury High School Class of 2025 participated in a Senior Give Back Day on May 30. After enjoying a senior breakfast, the students walked around Queensbury Elementary School, where they were able to pass through a tunnel of elementary school students cheering them on.

The classmates then spent several hours volunteering around the community at 16 different locations, performing jobs including landscaping, painting, setting up summer business equipment, cleaning, and providing a STEM day to some of the QES classrooms. A group of students joined Superintendent of Schools Kyle Gannon to clean up the Glens Falls watershed property between Peggy Ann and Potter roads.

The day wrapped up with a senior barbecue, the yearbook dedication to QHS English teacher Austin Cowper, and the distribution of graduation caps and gowns. Click here to see all the photos.
