The Queensbury Summer Music Academy recently wrapped up a successful three-week program filled with enriching, engaging and fun musical experiences. More than 250 students in grades 4-12 participated in nine unique sessions, which included three band sessions, three orchestra sessions, two steel band sessions, and a musical theater workshop.
Each session culminated in a performance, giving students the opportunity to showcase their growth and share their music with family and friends.
“Queensbury’s Summer Music Academy is a fantastic way for students to stay connected with music, continue developing their skills, and make lasting memories with friends,” said Gregory Verheyn, Music Department chairperson.
