Flyer about Parents as Partners webinar.

Co-parenting is something many families with school-age children face, yet there is little guidance about how to make it work.

Dr. Jennifer Bashant will offer a virtual workshop to discuss “Co-Parenting: Strategies for Making it Work for the Sake of the Kids” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16.

During this webinar, Bashant will share many strategies and tips for co-parenting, while acknowledging that each situation is unique and not every strategy will work for every family. This topic was requested by several parents at the end of the last series.

“This webinar offers practical guidance and tools to help separated or divorced parents collaborate effectively in raising their children,” said Christine Delaney, Queensbury Union Free School District’s director of Social and Emotional Learning and UPK. “It focuses on reducing conflict, improving communication and prioritizing the emotional well-being of the kids throughout the co-parenting journey.”
