Two students stand with principal at NHS induction ceremony.

Three Queensbury High School seniors were inducted into the National Honor Society on Wednesday, Dec. 17. The students inducted include: Jonah Hachem, Kara Bardin and Kady Duffy, who was unable to attend.

To be considered, students must achieve a grade point average of 89.5 or higher over six semesters of high school and the first quarter of senior year. They also have to be active participants in both the school and community.

When faculty members evaluate applications, they consider academic accomplishments, leadership, character and service backgrounds of each student.

Superintendent of Schools Kyle Gannon lauded the hard work, diligence, leadership, service and character of the students.

“We are incredibly proud of each of you,” Gannon said. “You represent the best of our school, and you remind us daily of what young people can achieve when they pursue their goals with passion and purpose.”
