Queensbury High School hosted about 240 students from 16 school districts at the Saratoga Warren County Music Educators Association (SWCMEA) All-County Orchestra and Jazz Festival on Jan. 9 and 10.
Thirty-seven Queensbury orchestra students in grades 6-12 participated, rehearsing and performing under the direction of outstanding guest conductors.
“I am extremely proud of the dedication demonstrated by our student-musicians,” said Gregory Verheyn, Music Department chairperson. “This positive and enriching experience strengthened their skills and provided them with a high-level musical perspective.”
