Seventeen Queensbury High School student-athletes signed their ceremonial commitment letters to play sports next year at their chosen colleges and universities.
All of these athletes have made the sacrifices necessary to perform at a collegiate level, said Richard Keys, the director of health, athletics and physical education.
“Today is the culmination of a tremendous amount of hard work, commitment and dedication to their sport, their teams and to themselves,” Keys said.
Superintendent of Schools Kyle Gannon told the student-athletes to thank their parents for helping their children achieve this level of athletics.
“We are super excited to be able to follow you in your next endeavor,” Gannon said. “Know that we will be watching, and we’ll be expecting you to come back and visit, too.”
