Queensbury fifth-grade teacher Caroline Conboy has been named a TCT Teacher of the Week. Conboy teaches ELA and social studies at the William H. Barton Intermediate School.
Teacher of the Week is a weekly awards program sponsored by TCT Federal Credit Union and Adirondack Broadcasting that honors local school employees making a positive impact on their students and school communities. Each week during the school year one recipient is selected and announced on air.
“Ms. Conboy works tirelessly to make learning accessible and engaging for all of her students,” according to Froggy 100.3. “From immersive research through a living wax museum to creative experiences like a ‘book-tasting,’ she truly meets students where they are, supporting both their academic and social-emotional needs. Beyond her classroom, Ms. Conboy is a role model and provides constant support to her colleagues.”
