Queensbury Union Free School District is looking for host families for five Global Scholars for the 2025-26 school year. The students are from Germany, Spain, Italy and Czech Republic.
The Global Scholars program, which launched in 2018, allows high school-age students from other countries to study at Queensbury High School while living with a host family for either one semester or one academic year. Host families receive a stipend for hosting, and students have their own health insurance.
Additionally, host families do not need to live in Queensbury. If you are excited to share cultures and build friendships that will last a lifetime, please contact Jen Roca, Global Scholars coordinator, at jroca@queensburyschool.org to learn more about hosting a foreign exchange student.
