As of Oct. 30, 2026, the SchoolTool mobile app for Android devices will no longer be available for download from the Google Play Store. SchoolTool is retiring the current Android app.
What this means: Android users who already have the app installed and are actively using it will be able to continue using the app after Oct. 30, 2026. However, new installations and re-installations will no longer be available through the Google Play Store.
Android users are encouraged to install the SchoolTool app on all needed devices before Oct. 30, 2026. After that date, new users can still access SchoolTool on their Android devices through the district’s website at: https://www2.schooltool.com/Queensbury/.
No iOS devices will be affected.

The Queensbury varsity boys golf team successfully defended its 2025 title and captured a 32nd league crown (28th as a member of the Foothills Council) with a first-place finish in the Foothills Council championship Sept. 29! ⛳

Senior Nicole Greenstein became the first QHS varsity girls tennis player to reach 100 combined wins! 🎾 QUFSD Athletics Hall of Famers Scott Paltrowitz ’00 (149), Matt Goetz ’87 (124), Rob Moynihan ’98 (113) and Pat Moynihan ’98 (109) are the only other Queensbury tennis players to surpass the century mark in combined wins.

The QMS cross country team will hold a car wash from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19 at Queensbury Middle School. Donations will be accepted.
Queensbury Union Free School District held moments of silence across campus Friday to acknowledge the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Mr. Purtell’s third graders learned about the history of the Twin Towers on Friday and built replicas out of Lego.
Queensbury senior Megan Winne broke a school record with 25 saves in the Queensbury varsity field hockey team’s game at Johnstown on Sept. 8. 🏑
Winne replaced Christina Galatioto ’16 — who recorded 24 stops at Johnstown on Oct. 16, 2012 — at the top of the Spartans’ single-game chart. Winne’s previous career-high of 23 saves occurred at South Glens Falls on Oct. 3, 2024.

The 2027 QHS Musical will be Roald Dahl’s "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." Performances will be on March 12, 13 and 14.
Based on the famous novel by Roald Dahl, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory features an original score composed by Marc Shaiman with lyrics by Shaiman and Scott Wittman (Hairspray) and a book by David Greig. The score also pays homage to the Leslie Bricusse/Anthony Newley score from the 1971 film with songs from the motion picture including "The Candy Man," "I've Got a Golden Ticket," "Oompa Loompa Song," and "Pure Imagination."
The world-famous Willy Wonka is opening the gates to his mysterious factory … but only to a lucky few. Young Charlie Bucket and four other golden ticket winners will embark on a life-changing journey through Wonka’s world of pure imagination including chocolate waterfalls, nutty squirrels and the great glass elevator, all to be revealed by Wonka's army of curious Oompa-Loompas.
There will be an informational meeting for all QHS students interested in auditioning in the fall.
Tickets will go on sale Mid-February.

The last Q-NITE for grades 6 and 7 will be from 6:30-8 p.m. Friday, April 24. There will be a DJ, basketball, karaoke and games. PTA will also be selling snacks. Tickets are $5 and can still be purchased at lunch on April 24 or at the door. Drop-off and pick-up are in the back of the middle school. Students are expected to stay the entire time of the event. School attendance is mandatory to attend after school events. Students who were not in school on 4/24 will not be able to attend Q-NITE.
