Two educators with students.

WHBI teacher Cassie Burrell and WHBI librarian Alicia Fazio are on the Honor Roll for WMHT Teacher Appreciation Week. WHBI Principal Gwynne Cosh nominated Burrell and Fazio for the honor.

Cosh said this about Burrell: Mrs. Burrell goes above and beyond for her students. She is encouraging, compassionate, and truly is a champion for her students. She helps lead our “Spartatude Club” after school and facilitates assemblies around our Spartatude values. Mrs. Burrell displays such a positive attitude with any challenge she is faced with and cares about all of her students as if they were her own child.

Students from the middle school and high school often pop in and visit with Miss Fazio. Before the day even begins every year, there is a group of students that find themselves in the library before the announcement signal comes on for students to get to homeroom.
